Thanks for the crabs, Cap'n.

Whoops, I mean carbs.

Keihin butterfly; there are a couple of mods for these old stockers that makes them work nicely...I also got a little nutty with the brass & silver solder for on-the-fly adjustment...

  1. Huh, I got about 5 of those in boxes. I've been using them as paperweights. Maybe I'll look back into them.

So you scored the "crabs", but you couldn't get the brass air cleaner he has, like the one in the picture? HE'S HOLDING OUT ON YOU!

  2. No, he offered...it's my humble opinion that brass is easily overdone.

  9. my comment on the t shirt and stickers was not to overlook poor quality nor take away from the grief of waiting for parts... especially when they fail and almost kill us! but seriously, the comment was in regard to customer service and that which seems lacking from FSC's business model. i like the fact my comment stirred you guys up!! see you all soon!

  10. Funny - my shovel came with one of those in a S&S box, and there was a brand spanking new Super E on the bike. What's the advantage/disadvantage of one over the other?
