Thanks, Mr. UPS man

New BDL to replace the primary I bought (used) in 2008. Yeah, it's time...

If you've got something fast and reliable...

and I know you, and you're not a weirdo, don't have hygiene issues and don't chew with your mouth open...Marco and I are hitting this again this year.
It's an 80 acre campground that the owners give us a corner to play in. There's a big quarry full of hippies too. Good times. Hinckley, Ohio.

Karen won't be attending, so there is an R1100 available to a select few subject to background check and blindfolded tire change test.

My turn for K&Q Glory

I'll be making new fender struts this weekend to get the fender right...but I got a smokin' deal on a cherry Drag seat and after several false starts, this is the one that will happen.
So shall it be written, so shall it be done.

It must be time for Laconia

Why else would I be seeing clumps of identical Street Glides with apehangers a foot above the windshield on the highway?

Talk me off the cliff

Had big plans for the shovel this winter. Unfortunately, it was living in a crushed garage and now a pod while lighting goes up in the garage. I've taken the shuv out a few times, but not that much. My job don't pay, but it's got me busier than I've ever been.

Shuv is exactly the same, warts and all. Fuck, the bags are still held on with bungee cords. I don't want to be the guy with something stupid broken on the side of the road. (apologies to everyone who's been there). At least I changed the oil and filter.

Hayabusa Buell Footpeg mod!

It's raining like a bastard here, so this is a good day to pull this off. This is a pretty common mod the the Hayabusa; Buell Lightning pegs give you something like 1.75" drop so you're a bit less crunched up on the bike. You have to remove .10" from the footpeg's overall width, so some whittlin' on the mill is in order. .050" per side.

That's the hardest part. Once that's done, you have to make up some bushings to take up the difference between the Busa vs. Buell pin diameter, but that's pretty much it. You can even reuse the Busa's footpeg springs. Now I have to adjust the controls and try to keep my heels off the exhaust...
Check the difference in drop (and looks, man or those OEM pegs ugly).

Thanks to Rivet for this tip!!
