Excellent use for a CB750 motor.

How much fun would this be? CB750 mag fired dragster that looks like it weighs as much as a box of tissues. Check that overhead megaphone!

I hate old bikes (with update)

If it isn't one thing its another, exhaust sounded a bit loud this morning, rear mount broke off the cheapo shaker, exhaust was just hanging by the one flange bolt.

Just a little something to keep it fresh.

Stayin' alive, so to speak.

Funny, I don't remember that woman being that small in the movie.

Getting that sync-ing feeling.

Syncing the throttle bodies on the R1100 today, as well as a valve check. Look how nice those heads are set up, valve adjusters right there, lots of room to work.

Oil tank mounts, exhaust mounts, brake stay mounts...

Lions, tigers and bears. Oh my.

Few more things to do, then I can disassemble & final weld. He better ride this thing...

if you want it, it's hanging on a rack at gabriel racing in worcester:

Flossin' my grip(s)

It's pretty, it's stainless...but I couldn't hack the plastic grip inserts on the wife's SP-101. It wanted something more...stylish.
I found a guy in Utah who makes inserts out of different kinds of wood...birdseye maple was the ticket.

Any port in a storm.

Psychic Blood Brother Jason had a bit of a problem during his commute...seems his sprocket bolts backed out and neatly machined away about 60% of his Exile sprotor caliper.
As a result, the caliper cocked off center & the pads contacted the sprotor full time, heating the rotor massively. He swung by the torture dungeon and we got the back end apart, removed the offending caliper, machined up a spacer and got him back on the road.

In related news, I think the Cube would look boss rollin' on solids.

Sunday August 27th

Cars and bikes, same deal as last year.

Got my orange crush

Saw this thing in Ohio last year...of course the rider was all "Oh, this old thing?"
I think it's in need of a couple changes, but look at that bodywork. I love that tail section and the burnt orange flake...dee-lish.

haven't been around much....
