So that's where all those parts go...

Finally put my rear brake hardware. My brake woes a couple weeks ago made me think I'd be screwed if that happened miles away from home, I couldn't just disconnect the front brake and roll the rear.
I really wanted something small, hidden and stealth but there is so much competition for space near my mids (trans, zorst, oil pump) I just put the stock bits on. Doesn't even look half bad.
Time for some Herb-style stops on the commute...

  1. I've got braided steel line back to the rubber line on the drum; I think the line is a little spongy, so I'll change that out at some point too.

  5. "I really wanted a drippy little pre-unit with a broke-assed tail section and oddly placed kickstand, but someone already bought it."

  6. Oh...well since my kickstand is in the standard position on the other side of the bike, I don't know WTF you're talking about.

  7. Does your right foot mind having to leave the security of the peg to reach the brake?

  8. No it doesn't; in fact, it does so with great alacrity.
