  8. How difficult would it be to machine the teeth off a clutch basket, and weld in its place a perfectly flat & level 520 sprocket from McMaster? The engine sprocket doesn't seem like too big a challenge. I'm serious! I have no idea.

  9. That would be one way, except I don't know how much of clutch assemblies are steel...I sure wouldn't want to play that game with aluminum sprockets.
