Knockin' knees

Tired of thing thing yet?
Freshly sandblasted by someone with far more patience than I. Finally got to tack a panel in to see how things would look, and so far I'm quite happy.
I do need to get some .040 tungsten & collets though, very easy to pop through this thin material...but for now it's time to match the other side.

Doomriders

I know it doesn't have two wheels, but it's cool anyway.  Forgot to call Herb to see if he'd be into going.  Sorry buddy.

Only American to win Isle of Man TT

In 1984, Dave Roper became the first American to ever win the Isle of Man TT on a Matchless G50. He was sponsored by a guy who recently moved to the area. He had a few of us local riders over for dinner a while back and had the bike out for us to see. Oh yeah, the guy also restores PT boats - after dinner we stormed the Hudson River Philippines style.

23

I know everyone goes to the JJ but with all the "what seat should I run" polls I wasn't sure if this was missed.. Early chopper with a 23 posted by Danny Franssen.

Almost identical...

... to my Pop's van he had back in '79. Full custom interior with a bed and tons of plush carpet. I would stab someone in the neck to get that van back.

Tall springs

Mr '79 hates tall springs, I like them, especially here.

Lever placement

I know these pics have been reblogged to death but I thought the lever placement was interesting, not to mention the sweet lid.

Cinema Gold

I just finished watching "Werewolves on Wheels" when I found this gem. Once you get past the teenage melodrama, there's some good eye candy in there.

No more pooped upon seats

$350 is a whole hell of a lot more reasonable then a grand for a torn apart dung filled seat, if you have an extra few hundred click here

Old picture...old iron

My uncle on his Scrambler circa 1967.

Beantown

I vow to ride through more of Boston's historical nooks and crannies in 2010. The irony won't be lost on the Triumph.
