Every Japanese sportbike seems so well polished and well-engineered. Sounds almost boring. I'd be tempted to remove one of the sparkplugs just to give the bike some "character." The 1970s-era Italians, on the other hand, knew how to mix speed, questionable build quality, and undeniable personality. Behold the MotoGuzzi LeMans I. I'd give [someone else's] left testicle for one of these.
Amazing what can be done with a tractor motor, huh?

ReplyDeleteYep. It's an Italian Harley, spun around 90 degrees, with a shaft drive and no primary chain. Sexy like vintage lingerie. Herb, I haven't figured out how to place a photo in a post response, so I may have to do another post featuring AMC's finest.
