I've grown tired on conventional v-twins, so I got this one rotated 90 degrees. Stone stock 1975 850T which sat for a long time in a dead guy's storage space. It will be cool. It's not hard to remove the old man-ness and make one cool. Already ditched the Bates bags and color-matched Wixom fairing.

Psychic Blood Brother JR got me thinking about my forgotten CB750 project again...while I don't think it's the right platform for a full-on candy colored Dr. Seuss gumdrop Bosozoku custom, I may stop dicking around and get a nice seat & tail section from Airtech and push the hell forward.

Problem is, there are sooo many cool ones to choose from. These are some candidates (still would like to hide the oil tank in the seat; if not, maybe at least stick the battery & 'lectrics in there)

We should all get one of these and do a run on them.

Albeit a short run. Spied in the corner of a friends garage amongst Jeep projects and race Ducatis. Sort of Yamaha's answer to the Honda C70 that people are currently putting way too much money into. Yes, there are "performance" parts for it...and check that front fender!

Finished putting the new tires on, the new carb, and a new ignition. She runs pretty good, but could still use just a hair of tweaking to the jets. Other than a cleaning, she's good to go for the season. GR7- I'm ready.
